If you live locally to Lamberhurst and have been walking through the Vineyard lately you will have noticed that there are SO many dandelions about at the moment!
Here is a link to a recipe idea for something yummy you could make with them over the weekend... happy picking! https://www.facebook.com/Wildernessoutdooreducation/photos/a.114474030146832/140152507578984/?type=3&eid=ARCjf-FDjMFnJbZx2Vtjcd_VTeZr1kAGtULBRiTH3y_sLcr2Se05IID7fuMVIF8FMmPDCpOcXqiJ9pvQ&__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARDJY0h5H7ZtPid9XxIYwxJXuT0sKduAzxjiMmd26NUJwBt1Iv4JUM4xLGn2HY9YJx0ZXP5KMs6cI0rpeMicQaPj9dQQV6RGyiuSk1v123ARc4a07aG6R39JxEsPptsNjutpoxJFE2wD2WHisuSwEnFiv8nLTZa6ADLQjO7ehjlGW4cuGSVHr7Nya3i4odSbrONLoe7FPgKh68QCYL2BigZFyVfnqM556Xw-IhVe1_B9QSOaHjUznsnPoEyBj5aJbvQiCzk_ZIe-mgUwLSXfrN-CnSP-HGdyptM5ICeUZN62GAmM-H1mtDTCnvXJFdmOEf6MWbRsLdKFAgJfYKDvMAs&__tn__=EEHH-R There are also some arty ideas to create your own dandelion pictures. Today's story on Tapestry is "Bumble bear". In honour of bees everywhere here is how to make beautiful pictures using one of their favourite things... flowers!
1. Collect flowers you would like to use 2. Put flowers in a flower press (or between two heavy books) and leave for a few days until nice and flat 3. Use the petals and leaves to make colourful collages or add them to your drawings by gluing them to paper. For more information about why bees are so important and how to make your garden bee-friendly see the link below: https://www.wildlifetrusts.org/…/…/save-bees-and-pollinators We'd love to see what flower pictures you come up with! This week at Fidgets we are planning on creating our own chalk walk sensory path... This can be done in your own garden or along paving for the whole community to join in with as they go past!
